Someone on my Friends list recced this fic, and I'm so happy that they did, because this is such a wonderful story. I've never read any Snape/Percy fics before, but the pairing works very well--it seems appropriate somehow that two people who are both, in their own ways, living in exile should meet and find comfort and companionship together. Plus, I've always had a soft spot for Percy, since I felt like his family treated him pretty badly at times in canon. It's nice to see him gain some independence and a life of his own, although I really liked the more mature version of Ron who showed up at the end, and I found myself hoping that Percy will be able to reconcile with his family, and that they'll be able to accept him as he is.
