Yeah, but like, I have excellent records from 1908-1964. The 1970s are confusing as fuck because the courses were moving from secondary to post-secondary education and the people in charge of that apparently believed that what they were doing was so obvious that there was no need to file any records of just how the grades were shifted. The late 80s have the early computer systems coming online, which leads to a lot of 'Computer Says No' type shit, along with the usually required Séances to see if the data you are looking for was deemed Important Enough at the time to be entered into The Great and Powerful Database. By the 90s, everybody is supposed to be using computers, but like, two people are proficient and everybody else is hitting buttons by rote. Also, a lot of database transfers happen with the associated black-box issues. And the paper back ups never match the computer records and, and, and...
